Haunted House Exterior :p

Today I made a Haunted House Exterior in the spirit of Halloween (even though it's not even October but idc). I'm not very good at making "spooky" igloos, but I wanted to give it a try (again). Here's how it turned out:

I think that this igloo would have been better with the galaxy location, but unfortunately Oasis doesn't have locations so I had to use the cityscape background. But, besides that I think I did a pretty good job on the color scheme. Please rate my igloo /10 and feel free to give me suggestions and tips on how I could improve my igloo! 2 YEAR ANNIVERSARY!

Today is the 26th September. This is a very special day because exactly 2 years ago, this blog was first created! In this post I'm going to be honouring everything special that happened in the last two years, let's begin!

First Post

On the 26th September 2013, the first post here on the blog was posted by me. It's nothing special but it's still worth mentioning! Check it out here

First Igloo Posted

The first igloo posted on this blog was actually 2 igloos! 3 days later, I debuted the first look at my Family House igloo from the first season of Buy Our House. The interior for this set of igloos is actually my favourite to date from Buy Our House. I loved the family vibes and modern look to it overall. Check it out here

First Author

Although I, myself could be considered an author, I'm more of an admin as well as an author. This means that the first author on this blog was actually RemOnCp! Unfortunately, Rem is no longer with us. Check his introduction out here

First Commenter

The first commenter was actually on the same post as Rem's introduction! The first commenter is Marioparty55 and here is his comment :

1000 Blog Views

On the 21st October 2013, we reached the 1000 blog views milestone. Only recently we received 200,000 blog views which is 200x as many. I often refer to blog views as 'hits' haha. Check out the post here 

First Author To Leave

Shyxtina was the first author to leave. His departure was never officially announced on the blog by himself so I don't have a post to share with you. However, if you want to see some of his igloos, you can check out his channel here 

Flash forward to 2014...

50,000 Blog Views

On the 1st June 2014, we reached 50,000 blog views! From the 50,000 mark, I began making posters for every 10,000 views we reached until 100,000. This post has a few interesting comments because Milbo and Joey were both talking about events which happened in this month... joey called it! Check out the post here

First Blog Party

On Sunday 10th August we held out first party as a blog to celebrate all of the recent achievements! The party was primarily set in my Nightclub igloo. Check it out here

Like Joey predicted, in the month of September we reached 100,000 blog views! I was really hoping to reach this goal by our 1 year anniversary and we did! This was a massive achievement for me. I'm so happy people continue to support us, even after 1 year :) Check out the post here

Starting on the 25th January 2015, I began experimenting with designing a new edgy design for this blog. After the many attempts at a new design, I finally created the look which you see today!

Lol, so today I have a Jungle Igloo that I made like, 2 months ago (I think?). *Cough* Anyway, I just thought I would share it with you guys because I have no idea what kind of igloo to make, AND because..... why not? Take a look:

• Bushes and tall grass
• Tarzan (just kidding)

Igloo Makers Wish List [COMING SOON]

As said in my furniture rant, I announced that I would be making an Igloo Makers Wish List. What is the Igloo Makers Wish List? Well, since Cp has not released any new furniture for months, we need to create a list of what new furniture we would like to see. As well as new furniture, also which furniture from the past we want to see return in the future.

I have a few ideas but I also want to know what you guys want to see return or be created. Here is what you can suggest :

• New Location Ideas eg. Desert
• New 'Igloo' Ideas  eg. Attic
• New Furniture Ideas eg. Spa Themed Items
• Ways to improve the igloo editing system
• New Igloo Music Ideas eg. Town Ambience 

Once we have a list of ideas, we can submit these ideas to Club Penguin to inspire them. 

Note : The Igloo Makers Wish List will replace Igloo Rebellion in the sidebar which is now outdated.

Halloween Party Igloo! :D

Alrighty, so today I present to you my entry for Alex's Halloween contest! The igloo that I had to make was a Halloween party. Take a look!

Halloween party igloo

This igloo includes:

• A dance floor
• Buffet & candy station (that's what the pumpkin is for)
• Seating area to eat yo food
• Upstairs/downstairs
• Slime pools (for decoration purposes only)
• Upstairs lounge thingy with seating
• Dragons to scare dumb hoes

Okay, so I know that the downstairs flooring is kinda off and I apologize for that, but overall I guess this igloo is OK. I also am aware that this kinda looks like a haunted house, but I sort of did that on purpose to make it look like those Halloween parties that are hosted inside of a house rather than a school gym or something (I hope you know what I mean lmao). Now that that's cleared up, please tell me what you think in the comments and rate my igloo out of 10! ily all!!

After the success of my Open-Concept House Interior, I decided to make a nice exterior to go along with it. The section of the house which goes outwards was partially inspired by one of Melanie's recent designs. I really like how this turned out and I think it's one of my better house exteriors.

What about NEW furniture?

This year, Club Penguin has been SERIOUSLY lacking in their Furniture catalogs! The last time we got new furniture was back in April 2015, 5 MONTHS AGO! Prior to April, we also only got 1 new piece of Furniture in February which wasn't very useful.

Although April was the last time we got new furniture, not all the new furniture was useful because the couches were simply HUGE :

It's ok to bring back old furniture for players who didn't have a chance to buy the furniture last time it was released, but surely Cp could atleast make a few pieces of new furniture each month! Even the graphics have been lacking in recent months...

Without new furniture, igloo creators will struggle to come up with new ideas and slowly people will get bored of igloo making.

July saw the begininning of the downfall of igloo making. The furniture in July was not even relevant to anything - we had an Inside Out takeover and there was no furniture related to the party.

Why is there no new furniture?

• Maybe the team ran out of ideas?
• Maybe the team no longer appreciate igloo making?
• Maybe the team have other stuff that they need to concentrate on currently?
• Maybe the recent lay-offs effected there being new furniture?

Despite this, would just a few pieces of new furniture each month really take a lot of time?
