Alrighty, so today I present to you my entry for Alex's Halloween contest! The igloo that I had to make was a Halloween party. Take a look!
Halloween party igloo
This igloo includes:
- A dance floor
- Buffet & candy station (that's what the pumpkin is for)
- Seating area to eat yo food
- Upstairs/downstairs
- Slime pools (for decoration purposes only)
- Upstairs lounge thingy with seating
- Dragons to scare dumb hoes
Okay, so I know that the downstairs flooring is kinda off and I apologize for that, but overall I guess this igloo is OK. I also am aware that this kinda looks like a haunted house, but I sort of did that on purpose to make it look like those Halloween parties that are hosted inside of a house rather than a school gym or something (I hope you know what I mean lmao). Now that that's cleared up, please tell me what you think in the comments and rate my igloo out of 10! ily all!!

The flooring is uneven and it frustrates me so much gRRR!
ReplyDeleteI like the idea but it's very cluttered and there is no present colour scheme. The item use just seems to be more "stick whatever looks scary" rather than a well-planned out igloo. Needs a lot of improvement. 5.5/10
To be honest, I would have to disagree with you. I understand that the flooring's a tiny bit uneven and there's no color scheme, but the igloo is really well detailed and you can definitely tell that it's a Halloween party. However I have two recommendations. First, you can replace the burgundy chairs with with The Count's Chairs, and replace the cityscape in the back with the navy-colored sea streamers. Overall, I would give Zenny 8.5/10

DeleteI think I agree with Connor. The flooring is uneven, and to be honest, I don't think you should have used footlight stages for the flooring. The color doesn't match for a Halloween igloo, and you can save yourself a few items by using a larger flooring item. The colors are all over the place, maybe a dark brown/red color scheme would work.
ReplyDeleteI'm not a fan of the scorn statues or the "Dragons to scare dumb hoes". More realistic decorations would work better. Lastly, I think you should have done only cityscapes as the background, but set to red. Like Connor said, it could use a lot of improvement. 4/10
I was going for a red/brown color scheme, but halfway during the igloo I just said, "fuck it". Lmao anyway, thanks Verde.

DeleteI really like this I say 7/10 it's a bit cluttered and the floor is uneven but not enough that it visually bothers me. I honestly think Connor and Sal are being unreasonable. This is really good. I also agree that it has no color scheme, but party's are loud and colorful so that is ok. There is absolutely no reason to rate this igloo below a 6. There is not enough reasoning that could make it lower than a 6. Although it's not my favorite igloo of yours, it's definitely much better than other igloos and meets my standards.

ReplyDeleteOkay so I love MOST of this igloo, I just think some of these things are like "I'm so random." For example, the dragons. I know your like "ooo, a dragon!" But it doesn't mean it's sort of a halloween fit, ya know?
