Hope you're all enjoying your weekend/last days of summer
Today I'd like to present to you "Quinn's on the Beach" - a restaurant that I went to while on vacation in Florida last weekend.
This restaurant's layout intrigued me whilst I was at my resort, so I figured I'd try my best to replicate it. Most of the seating was outside, but there was indoor seating as well. It was really cool to see, because you could watch the cooks prepare food on the bar on the inside, and watch them prepare drinks on the outdoor bar.
This restaurant includes:
- 5 outdoor tables
- 3 umbrellas to provide shade
- 6 bar seats
- Access to the beach
- "Quinn's" cabana-like structure

I really like the layout of this igloo. I like how you made it look tropical and I love the way you made the "hidden" kitchen. My only complaints are how there is grass on the beach and the orange umbrellas didn't go with the color scheme. 8.7/10.

I understand why you used grass (to hide the transition between sand and wood) but maybe another item could have been used, although at the back of the beach you sometimes get long grassy parts, the grass in this igloo was more like garden grass. I love the table set ups and you even changed the rotation of the chairs for different set ups which was good. I also loved the bar area wih the chairs and the hidden kitchen was worked well. The use of the brown roofing over the bar was perfect because it was also in line with the hedge's! I don't mind the orange umbrellas because they add some colour to the igloo. The rock arrangement was also really good with the palms poking through. Maybe remove the TV in the kitchen and replace it for something else and if you have some more items, decorate the beach more.

ReplyDeleteI don't get why people are giving this 7's and 8's it's most obviously a 10 I CSNT find anything wrong with it the kitchen and entrance is perfect I don't get why people are criticising the grass and hedges I think they match perfectly the umbrellas are a nice touch and the surrounding rocks and tables look the part. The beach is awesome :)
ReplyDeleteSCORE: 10/10 wow this is your best igloo by far, only improvement: add more shells n stuff to the beach
nice but the restaurants lay out is a bit weird 9/10
ReplyDeleteNice, although I think some flowers/gardens (in place or behind the grass? in front of the hedge trees in the back?) would help add to the somewhat dark colors you got going on, on the left. On a positive note, bar is well constructed && I don't have any problems with the umbrellas.
ReplyDeleteSCORE --- 9/10
I like this igloo! The only thing that bothers me is how you used the granite counters for the bar area. To me it didn't really match the rest of the igloo but I understand because CP doesn't have that many choices. Same for the seating. It just didn't match the rest of the igloo. My score for this igloo would be 9/10
