Town Igloo by Lildudee10

Hey guys!

It's Lil and today I am bringing to you my latest igloo - a Town.
Now this is a basic idea as it is my entry for the November Igloo Challenge which was surprisingly difficult to make because simple ideas take a while to add detail to.

Without further ado I hope you like the igloo :)
It features:

  • Shops including Bistros, a clothing store & a bakery.
  • House
  • Plaza area for busking
  • Boat ride from one side of town to another.
  • Pretty scenery :3
My Town Igloo!
I'm pretty proud of this igloo, seeing it was such a basic idea.
I hope you all like it too :)
I wish you all luck in the November igloo challenge if you're taking part too, it's cool to see such basic ideas becoming wonderful things.

See you soon!

~Lil

  1. Imlove the igloo, but to be honest... this kinda actually look more like a french town. I dont know if good or bad , but that topic is diffrent. I love the igloo and creative! Colors really match! The top part is the best! But thre are negitive things. There is no entrance for the red and green stores or something. Inside its jumble up i cant tell if its a clothing store, bakery, or bistro. To my left i see there is an entrance... TO THE WATER. oh wait thats for the boat ride. But still i wish you coild add another entrance that leads to the left side. I dont think the river is nessary. I just think you added it for detail. Think what is nessary sometimes cuz yeah again, reminds me of A FRENCH TOWN. plus i wish you could remove the art thingy, idk, cuz sometimes somewould threw a rock at it qnd its gonna fall in. Replace the art thing with something else. Plus one more negitive thing. Wish you remove that random plant on that red house cuz is this jack and the flower pot or something? Again i 2ish you remove it and it replace it with something nessary.

    over all 7.5/10

  4. Ok, so I see where Lela's going with the French Town thing, because I can totally see a European vibe - potentially French - going on. However I don't think that it would completely change the "topic" of the igloo. I think it's very well done, and the layout is spectacular. It's also nicely detailed. I do agree with Lela on the flower between the roofs though. I think a hedge or maybe a tree would've been better. It would've been nice to see an entrance in the plaza/courtyard area, but I don't think It's absolutely necessary. 9/10

  5. It's not exactly what I had in mind when setting the 'Town' challenge. And I think it's more of a village with steps leading down to a nearby river except there are no steps, hard to explain. It was a nice little igloo though. There are many floorings you used which is usually a bad thing but 3 of the the floorings matched in colour. If you're going for the sort of village by a river kind of thing, I would of wanted a sidewalk along the river edge --- This would of helped with the fact you need to get the boat to get from one half of the igloo to the other.

Overall I think the river/trees/bushes take away the fact it is a town -- 8/10

  6. This is Blackmist100 – can't log onto my Google Account at the moment.

Lil, tbh... this looks too familiar. You've made several igloos like this already. It would have been nicer to see something new out of this "Town" concept, as that's what the purpose of the November Igloo Challenge really is...

    8/10 nothing breathtaking
