[SPECIAL SERIES] :: House Hunters #6 - Laundry Room + CONTEST

Happy Friday! I hope everyone is having a great summer and enjoying it while it lasts. Today's installment of House Hunters consists of a laundry room igloo. This igloo includes a sink, a washer + dryer combo, various detergents and soaps for the clothes, cabinet space, a laundry basket, a laundry hamper, an ironing board and a mop. Check it out!

Now for the bit you've all been waiting for.....the contest! This week's task is to create another bathroom for the McFlipper home. Be sure to make it significantly different from the one I created as part of your score will be based on how different yours is compared to mine.                                                                                                 >> For reference click here <<
Mr. Waddlez: He would LOVE to keep the dance floor flooring feel from his original bathroom and would prefer tile flooring. Both of them agree that the bathroom needs two sinks, so they can have their own private space and want a separate shower and bathtub. Mr Waddlez wants a bathroom that doesn't feel too different from his original bathroom.
Mrs. Waddlez: Like the kitchen and living room, she would prefer a cozier look and instead of having tile would prefer hardwood flooring. Something to clean her cats would be ideal as well. She loves home decor and would prefer lots of paintings, knick knacks and decor. Mr Waddlez gets a little stinky sometimes so a separate toilet area is a NECESSITY. Mrs Waddlez wants a HUGE bathroom completely different from the original.

A couple weeks ago was kind of a mess, so I hope that the rules are more clear this go around. I DO NOT want a house I want something that looks like the laundry room, only a section of the igloo not a whole house. Happy igloo-making!

[SPECIAL SERIES] :: House Hunters #5 - Basement

It's Wednesday so that means I have another installment of House Hunters! Today's room is a basement for a college student, most likely a nerd. This room includes, an outdated bed, a night stand with lamp, a ping-pong table, a basketball net, a computer/homework desk, a TV featuring video games, and an outdated couch. Check it out!

Beach Bar and Restaurant by Verde Sal

Hey everyone, it's Verde Sal here with a new igloo for you. :D Today's igloo is a beach bar and restaurant, take a look:

This igloo features:
-Kitchen and bar area
-Indoor seating
-Outdoor seating
-Plants and flowers

Overall, I'm happy with how this igloo looks, but I would have liked to have added more seating. I had a lot more detail originally, but I hit the item limit very quickly. Also, I realize that I wasted an item by accident, as there is another brick pizza oven behind one on the right side. My membership expired the next day though, so I couldn't fix that.

Boat Restaurant igloo [Updated]

Hey guys, I was really surprised by how much everyone liked my Boat Restaurant and decided to make some minor adjustments based on your responses. Here is the new version :

Edits :

• Upper plants changed to green (not brown)
• Kitchen window changed to white

Many of you also mentioned that you would prefer if I didn't use grey fridges. I would have liked to have used the large box item which would work better with the colour scheme but unfortunately I don't have the item and couldn't find a different replacement item

Mini Hiatus

Hey guys! I'm going out of state for a band camp for the next week, so I'll be on a mini hiatus. Sadly, that means House Hunters will have to be delayed. On the bright side, the deadline for the igloo contest has been extended until Monday, July 20. [Authors are allowed to audition as well ;-)] I am EXTREMELY proud of everyone for voting for us for Most Creative, I hope to come back to see that we made it to round three! See ya July 20! PS I'm working on a new igloo that's gonna be AWESOME!

[SPECIAL SERIES] :: House Hunters #3 - Baby's Room + CONTEST

Hey guys! Today is another installment of House Hunters, this time the room is a baby room. If you've been keeping track you may have noticed that episodes were posted on Monday, Wednesday and Friday. I plan on continuing this premiere schedule until the end of the series! Anyways, this igloo includes a crib, stuffed animals, a rocking horse, a reading chair, and bookshelves. Check it out!

Baby's Room

Every Friday I plan on hosting a mini contest for a chance to be featured in the House Hunters finale! This week's challenge is to create a living room + dining room combo that pleases the Waddlez family and compromises on their conflicting requests. The living room and dining room MUST be together in the same igloo.
Here are the requirements: 
Mr. Waddlez: He loves watching sports and would LOVE to have a huge TV to watch the game, but wants the living room just for him. In case he gets hungry during the blue team game he would like to have snacks, so he doesn't have to wait for six hours for Mrs. Waddlez's signature macaroni and cheese. He's also a huge fan of watching movies so he would like space to store his blu-rays. Like most men, he doesn't care about anything else, as long as it pleases his wife.
Mrs. Waddlez: She's huge on cooking and would like a very quant, cozy and decorated kitchen and dining room. She doesn't think the house needs a giant TV and would prefer to keep it small. She would prefer open concept and for the house to look very modern. She would like a section in the living room to work on her crafts, but is annoyed with how loud Mr. Waddlez gets when he watches the game, so a quiet place is ideal. She would also like features that please her two cats: Gizmo and Venus.
Find a solution that compromises their requests! Feel free to use only part of an igloo like I did with the Baby's Room and Bathroom. Submit your igloo in the comments by Friday, July 17.
