The Igloo Likes Guide

In order to get lots of Igloo Likes, you don't need to be the greatest igloo designer... Here is our guide for gaining plenty of Igloo Likes :

1. The Igloo Idea
- Certain igloo ideas are more popular with penguins than other igloo ideas. For example, although a garden themed igloo may be really creative, people are less likely to stay in your igloo. You want as many people to stay in your igloo as possible. Here are some igloo ideas which will attract a lot of penguins :

• Jail
• Kingdom
• College
• Vs. igloos (eg. Pirates Vs. Mermaids)
• Restaurants / Cafes
• Mall
• The Hunger Games (Igloos based on a film or show)
• Pool (Party)
• Plane / Train igloos

- What do these ideas have in common? They require interaction with penguins. This interaction may be roleplay such as being a waiter or being a knight. Igloos where you just admire the igloo aren't always the ones which gather the most igloo likes.

2. Where You Advertise 
- The best place to advertise is ALWAYS the Town. The Town is usually the first room where penguins arrive once they log on. The Town is also usually the most full room so this is where the most people will see your advertising campaign. If there is a party taking place on CP, you may want to advertise in the main room of that party eg. the Snow Forts during the Soundstudio party. 

• If you're advertising a college, you may also want to advertise in the University or Stadium. 
• If you're advertising a Day Care / Pookie Contest, you may also want to advertise in the Pet Shop
• Don't forget to advertise on the most popular server, which almost of all the time is Blizzard

3. How To Advertise

• Advertise in CAPITAL LETTERS 
• Make sure you can be seen in the room that you are in
• Use exclamation marks (You want a big speech bubble)
• Dance (You want to get people's attention)
• Sometimes you may want to wear an outfit which relates to your igloo idea
• Copy and paste the advertising campaign into the chat box so you are constantly advertising and not wasting time by typing out the campaign every time.
• You may want to include 'Help Wanted' in your campaign
• You may want to include 'Smile If Coming' in your campaign so that people recognise it is a popular igloo
• You may want to mention 'I will record' because people want to have attention (Only do this if you will record)
• Ask your friends to help you advertise

4. Change The Igloo
- Once people are in your igloo, you may want to quickly change to another igloo slot so people can like your other igloos that you have made. 

WARNING : This can be extremely annoying and might cause people to leave

5. Set A Target
- The best way to stay motivated in receiving igloo likes is by setting goals. For instance, try and receive 30 igloo likes per day. Or you might aim to reach 10,000 igloo likes by the end of the year or 500 igloo likes by the end of the month. 

6. Quality Of The Igloo
- Although the idea is perhaps more important, it's still important that your igloo looks good. This website is full of ideas and inspiration to get you started! Just start by searching for an igloo in the search bar.

7. Keep Advertising
- You can't rely on your friends to your like igloo. You need to put the effort in to advertise. Try and advertise for many 10 or 15 minutes a day, and don't forget to take breaks if you're advertising for a long period of time - you don't want to damage your eye sight!

8. Like Your Own Igloo 
- This is the easiest way to receive igloo likes because CP allows you to like your own igloo. And since we have 3 igloo slots, that's 3 igloo likes and potentially 1095 igloo likes per year! Although this does give you igloo likes, it is very little and should be considered a 'bonus' as you have to put in the effort to receive more igloo likes.
