Hey guys! Today I have two igloos to present! The first one is a Tropical Restaurant that includes a faux wave "fountain", five tables, a reception desk, a kitchen and a back area with dump. The next igloo is inspired by Disney World and includes Main Street USA with a shop and a restaurant, the Haunted Mansion, Cinderella's Castle, Splash Mountain and Space Mountain. Check them out!

ReplyDeleteThe first igloo - outside is fitting to the theme but slightly messy. Inside is a bit bland and the use of items needs to be improved. Seems more haunted than tropical to me. Also, those blue chairs are ugly af :(

ReplyDelete-1 cool windows but they didn't work for me... would've made sense if this was a Hollywood Restaurant; also it doesn't help that you can't see through them
-1 outside is tropical but inside isn't
-1 agreed with Connor: not sure if blue tables were a good idea... tbh a bamboo theme would've worked

ReplyDeleteSome of the items aren't really fitting to the theme, such as the judges chairs (the blue ones) and the candles. They don't really match :P I also think that since it's tropical, you should have just used the beach location instead of the cityscape items.
The outside is messy and since there isn't the beach location, it looks funky to me.

ReplyDeleteI love the effort and see so many good things, but for me some items don't mesh well together such as the black benches and buildings in the Disney World igloo.
Tropical Restaurant :: Exterior is cool, I like the entrance - although I don't like the windows or the brown table. Inside, there was 0 tropical theme. The blue chairs don't look good and I think there should be a few more tables, including 2 outside. Also, use the log chairs instead or the dining chair. The trophey case was a wierd item choise and the kitchen could be better. 7/10 (I think you should remake this igloo, either for Halloween or have another go at the tropical theme because the layout is fine)
ReplyDeleteDisneyland :: I can't properly judge this because I've never been. I like the castle and the boat ride but the tree above looks weird. I also like the haunted house. I agree with Mist, there is too much to Disneyland for one igloo and your sections just didn't work well together. 7/10
