SUMMER IGLOO CONTEST // AUTHOR AUDITIONS

It's Summer and there's no school! What better way to get your creativity flowing than by having a Summer Igloo Contest? Seems pretty simple, right? Here are the rules :
  • Make an igloo which is your own creation with the theme of summer involved
  • Submit your igloo by the 21st August
  • Submit your igloo by leaving a link in the comments to a screenshot of your igloo /OR/ send your screenshot to me on Twitter
ANYONE can enter the contest, there may be two winners (1 Igloo Author & 1 none Igloo Author). 

If you are a none igloo author and your entry is pretty amazing, you may be asked to become an igloo author in the future and join our team because we are recruiting new penguins to share their creations to the world!!!

      I couldn't think of anything and the one idea I had didn't turn out so well. But I was making an igloo just now (without any intentions of entering it or using it for anything) and I kinda like it so far. So scratch that, I'm still in! :D

      Personally, using Sand Walls looks bad when making buildings. You should use fridges and bookshelves to represent walls. Also try and make the rooms in the corners have a straight back rather than curving around the location. Your classroom is nice but change the red booth seats to just a normal dining chair. The sand walls are the main issue though.

      Hey! this looks good, only suggestions i have are that don't use many wall items like the ones you use because it looks like its floating in the sky, try to neaten some areas before saying this is final draft like the some of the fridges, I would replace the arches with pantrys as doors instead (if you have them) and It would better to have an entrance to the college. 7/10

      Don't really see the summer side of it, looks more like a normal hotel/inn than a cruise ship. Maybe a 6.5/10.

      I think it needs more summer elements and perhaps a better layout for a cruise ship. Maybe try making a cruise ship exterior, meaning make the ship itself instead. 6/10

      I don't get the summer feeling, I know it has the beach background, but seriously, why a summer school??? There are more active and enjoyable igloos like beach, summer hotel, boardwalk ect..
      Although if it was for something else that would have been better...! 5.5/10

      Haha thanks! I've recently gotten into making igloos. I used to copy others (don't get me wrong, I would always give the creator credit but still shame on me). Now I've started to create my original igloos. Even though it's hard, it feels 1000x better when you've finished and are completely satisfied with your new igloo! Especially when others compliment you! :)

    This contest is extremely unfair. Everyone already took the igloo ideas, it's like it's hard to choose an igloo idea. It makes you feel extremely exhausted when making an igloo since everyone took an igloo idea. What if other people did the same idea as the people already summited and the people would blame us for copying igloos when other people are trying to make it original. I have been thinking an igloo idea for many hours and didn't even start on it! I honestly can't even make an igloo since everyone who already participate the contest took all the ideas! Guys, this igloo contest may seem very easy to you since it's theme summer, but the major problem is everyone took the ideas. This igloo contest makes you feel extremely exhausted and it's extremely unfair. Now I have a big headache after thinking for many hours for an igloo idea. :( :( :( :(

      Even though everyone said it i have to agree with your igloo. If it was your own creation before Rosytilly's that would have been fine!, but on the other hand around 90% has been copied in my opinion. As the others said just improve on it it would have made a "big" difference!!! Although good job.....
